Privacy policy
This policy describes the personal data collected on the Coffee Car France website — in particular through the Apply, Advertisers and Contact forms — and how it is used, stored and protected, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. This translation is provided for information; the French version prevails.

Data controller
Coffee Car France is the controller of the data collected on the website.
[To be completed by Coffee Car France: postal address and email address to use for any request relating to personal data]
Data collected
The data is entered by you in the website’s forms:
- Application to the Driver-Investor Programme (Apply page): profile (rideshare driver, taxi driver, rideshare and taxi driver, in training), city or area of operation, make, model and year of the vehicle, first name, last name, phone, email, and the origin of the visit (technical field).
- Advertiser request (Advertisers page): company, full name, job title, work email, phone, preferred area, type of campaign and description of needs.
- Contact form (Contact page): first name, last name, email, phone, subject and message.
The server also records technical logs (IP address, date, pages viewed) needed for the website to work and to keep it secure.
Purposes and legal bases
The data is used to process your application, your advertiser request or your message, and to contact you about it. This processing is based on your consent (box ticked before sending) and on steps taken prior to a possible contractual relationship.
No marketing communication is sent to you without separate consent.
Recipients
The data is intended for the Coffee Car France team. It is stored in the website’s database and sent by email to Coffee Car France. It is neither sold nor transferred to third parties. The website host has access to it only as far as necessary for its service: [To be completed by Coffee Car France: name of the host].
Website chat assistant
The website offers a chat window, “The Coffee Car assistant”, which automatically answers questions about the Driver-Investor Programme. The messages you write there are sent to our automation tool (n8n, hosted in the European Union) and to an artificial intelligence service (xAI) that drafts the answer. You are not asked to identify yourself to ask a question; do not enter sensitive data. Questions and answers are kept for 90 days, without identifying the visitor, in order to improve the answers, and are then deleted. Your conversation is also stored in your browser for 30 days, so that you can find it again when you come back to the website; the “New conversation” link in the window deletes it.
If you ask about the status of your application, the assistant asks for your application reference and the email address used; it only answers if both match, and each lookup is recorded in your application history. If you leave your email address to get an answer from a person, it is sent to the Coffee Car France team with your question, solely to answer it; it is kept with the question and the answer for 90 days and then deleted. The answer is sent to you by email and shown in the chat window if you come back to the website.
Retention period
